Reports to: Chief Strategy Officer

Job Mission: The Marketing and Product Manager is an absolute doer. You will own campaign planning and execution by working with the Chief Strategy Officer. We are a young company and are moving fast, so the candidate is required to manage multiple campaigns and take initiative without constant supervision, you have to be hungry for success and growth. You will also have to plan new features with the tech and operations teams such as new promo codes, referral programs etc.

As a Marketing and Product Manager, you will help drive user-growth, manage user acquisition campaigns across different channels such as social media, digital advertising, email marketing, partnerships and events. You will also come up with action items to improve marketing ROI and review A/B tests. This role requires creativity, analysis, and execution; it’s all about execution, anyone can have an idea.

Main Job Responsibilities:
Actively manage and implement user acquisition campaigns against established objectives and budgets across multiple channels
Focus on growing active users and maximizing ROI Own campaign planning, launch, ongoing optimization and management across our paid social media channels
Analysis of campaign performance by looking into key metrics, identify the largest areas for improvement and implement strategies to capitalize on these opportunities. You will need to be very observant, with an eye for detail and strong business acumen
Identify the best sources for customer acquisition based on relevant market research, past campaign performance, and industry best practices. You will need to come up with actual action items, not just fluff and nice presentations 😉
Test and optimize a variety of social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, digital advertising, PR and more
Plan new product features with the tech team and operations teams
Clearly outline the text, design, wireframes for such features from start to finish – it requires a high level of intellect

 

Requirements:
Loves the mission. Plain and simple – that’s above everything else
1-2 years of experience in performance and growth marketing positions or product management positions, preferably at a FinTech, consumer internet, or advertising firm
Experience in a user acquisition focused role with a heavy focus on campaign planning, execution, optimization, and reporting a very strong plus Intellectually curious with strong critical thinking and planning skills, including demonstrated ability of performing successful marketing campaigns
Detail oriented and well organized with a hard working can do attitude
Outstanding oral, written and communication skills
Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Self-motivated and passionate about growing with Wahed as we continue to revolutionize the industry
Familiar with A/B testing, basic HTML is a plus
BS/BA required in Marketing, Business or a related technical field
