Overview

A social media agency is recruiting for an Arabic Social Media Consultant specializing in social media listening and analytics.

The position would require someone for around 30 hours per week on a flexible basis. This role is a 6-12 month contract starting in June.

Duties include:
– Consult stakeholders on topic definitions, social listening measures, and filters to define objectives
– Implement analysis for research/projects/campaigns/events and present insights back to inform strategic decisions
– Set up social listening tools including keywords, Boolean logic, and dashboards
– Pull and interpret data from digital platforms to identify industry trends and brand opportunities
– Create reports that transform social data into a clear story
– Manage a calendar for routine deliverables, exploratory projects, and ad hoc reports
– Share case studies and best practices
– Ensure consistent and relevant data analysis

Ideal candidates will have the following:

– CANDIDATES MUST BE FLUENT IN ARABIC- READING WRITING AND SPEAKING
– Previous blogger experience
– Excellent ability to translate and write in English and Arabic
– Keen judgement of language, tone and sentiment by young millennials
– Expert in advanced social media monitoring platform usage
– Strong data interpretation skills
