We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Marketing Strategist to lead our Marketing department. You’ll be responsible for launching Airshoppers’ platform, setting specific objectives to develop a cohesive and profitable marketing strategy.

Airshoppers is a peer-to-peer marketplace that enables Shoppers to shop smarter overseas products with the help of Travelers.

As a Marketing Strategist, you will be responsible of leveraging on existing and new assets and build marketing tools with the objective of creating a momentum around Airshoppers’ launch, engage with early adopters, penetrate the market, increase our market share and ensure brand consistency.


  • Proven work experience as a Marketing strategist or Marketing manager
  • Demonstrable experience with marketing campaigns and web technologies (e.g. online tools and social media, blogging platforms, hootsuite, etc)
  • Proven campaign experience demonstrating high levels of ROI
  • In-depth knowledge of CRM software and Content Management Systems
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM and Google Analytics
  • Understanding of Web Design
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and writing skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Team management skills


Journey Map:

  • Target and generate traffic and qualified leads/early adopters to subscribe to our early stage platform
  • Engage with subscribers (prior and after Airshoppers going live) through automated email (from awareness to conversion and beyond)
  • Research and post weekly articles that are SEO optimized to engage our subscribers.

Blogging and Digital/Social PR:

  • Create pillar blog articles (already drafted) to promote Airshoppers’ expertise and benefits (shoppers and travelers) to targeted segments and analyze metrics to find and focus on most active destinations and category of products
  • Create a blogging plan of products to promote (with focus on unavailable in UAE and offering arbitrage opportunities) that are aligned with most active destinations and requested category of products.
  • Build a Network of local/international bloggers/Content Heroes (by destination and category of products) to provide valuable content for both shoppers at home & frequent travelers to cover anything from collaborations, new product launches, food, travel & shopping tips (with focus on targeted destinations and category of products to be promoted)
  • Build a Network of freelancers who will assist on working on marketing collateral and graphic works for the blog articles
  • Proven collaboration with bloggers and Influencers’ outreach

Social Media:

  • Post daily updates and pictures of users, products on our social media channels . Monitor analytics and
  • Online and social media marketing initiatives, Facebook/Instagram/blog posting, and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

UI improvement and UX research/testing:

  • Understanding of Web design
  • Use customer feedback and monitoring/tracking tools to ensure client satisfaction and improve UX
